Whittier High School will celebrate approximately 430 Cardinals at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 5 at the Dick Torres Memorial Stadium, 10800 Benavon St., Whittier.
Leading the Class of 2019 are valedictorians Anais Hernandez and Arianna Rivas.
Anais will study aerospace engineering at UCLA, while Arianna will minor in business and declare a major at UC Santa Cruz.
Among the graduates are salutatorians Alexia Balderas, Zyanya Gomez, Ava Sanchez and Joshua Soto.
Alexia will major in mathematics at Mississippi State University.
Zyanya is undecided in a major, but will explore her options at Whittier College.
Ava, who was recognized by the Board of Trustees with an Award of Merit in the fall, will double-major in human biology and global health at USC.
Joshua Soto will study biology at UC Santa Barbara.
